Paul Kaiser

President
Paul initially joined Shasta in 2003 as part of the JELD-WEN Health Benefits team and managed the health plan for JELD-WEN in the United States and Canada, along with managing the operations of Shasta. In 2011 Paul joined Hawaii-Western Management Group as their COO and coordinated the acquisition of Shasta with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in 2012.  Paul possesses in excess of 30 years of experience in the health insurance industry.

 

Adeline (Addie) Fagan

Chief Operations Officer
Addie has over 22 years of TPA experience including all areas of TPA operations.  She has also served as the JELD-WEN Health Benefits Director and has served on user boards and varying committees.  She believes strongly in always looking for ways to improve both services and processes.

Stephanie welsh

Director of Operations
Stephanie has been with Shasta for over 10 years in various departments and roles. As our Director of Operations, she collaborates with all departments within our organization to help guide, implement, and troubleshoot day-to-day activities. She has recently been elected onto the Javelina executive user board to help improve systems and processes not only for Shasta, but all Javelina users. Stephanie has brought with her many years of customer service, medical, and leadership experience.

CASSIE FAHERTY

Director of Member Services
Cassie has over 18 years in the customer service industry and brings her passion and commitment to “world-class customer service” to the Shasta team.  Cassie’s firm belief that customer service should be pleasant, productive, and hassle-free helps to inspire the Shasta Team to look for ways to help participants.

Tino Versoza

Director of Sales
Tino is responsible for growing and maintaining existing broker and client relationships and seeking new clients and partners for Shasta to work with. He comes to Shasta with a broad perspective of the benefits world with over 20 years of experience.  Tino has worked with the Blues here in the Pacific Northwest, was a broker/consultant for many years, has previously worked at a TPA, and has led efforts to bring legal, compliance, disease, and case management, along with other cost containment programs to the marketplace.  His collaborative and consultative style is what people appreciate about him the most. Tino currently holds a Health, Life, Property & Casualty Oregon license.

Lisa Littlejohn

Human Resources Manager Lisa has been with Shasta for 7 years. Lisa started in Customer Service with over 15 years of experience, worked her way up to Client Account Management, and is the current HR and Payroll Manager. Lisa believes that treating others how you’d like to be treated and surrounding yourself with people who are smarter than you are the best ways to grow and be successful. Lisa’s positivity and energy keep everyone connected, laughing, and motivated.

 

MIchael Canter

Information Systems Manager
Michael has been with Shasta for over 5 years. His previous work in operations and contract management brings a broad scope of knowledge and information to his position and how we set up the technical side of administration for our clients and vendors.

JODI BALL

Claims and Support Manager
Jodi has worked in customer service or healthcare for her entire career and finds that she is at her best while in service to others. Whether that is her team of claims analysts, the mailroom, the medical management team, or the members of the various groups we administer, Jodi will find a way to balance the needs of all parties in each situation. She works closely with her staff to identify barriers to care for members, efficiency for her team members, and other departments to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

Amber Bernard

Provider Relations and Compliance Manager
Amber has been with Shasta for 2 years, starting as the Compliance Manager with a background in specialized technical compliance. She is currently the Compliance and Provider Relations Manager, taking on the Provider Relations position over a year ago while also leading the Social Committee. She is fully committed to the success of her team and Shasta and works to foster positive relationships with providers, vendors, and team members through effective and transparent communication.

Melissa Avila

Customer Service Manager
Melissa joined the Shasta team in 2019, where she started as a Customer Service Representative and due to her strong teamwork and management skills worked her way up to Customer Service Manager. As a leader, Melissa is committed to excellent customer service, keeping the morale high, and striving to build and maintain relationships with providers and our members.
